Engineering Programs (E-Group)

Comprehensive diploma programs combining theory and hands-on training across 5 branches:

Civil Engineering – Infrastructure, construction, structural analysis
Mechanical Engineering – Thermodynamics, machine design, manufacturing
Electrical Engineering – Circuits, power systems, electronics
Electronics Engineering – Microprocessors, communication systems
Information Technology – Programming, networking, software development

Duration: 3 Years Intake: 40/branch Fee: ₹8,400/year

Eligibility for Engineering

Passed 10th (High School) from a recognized board.
Must have studied Science & Mathematics.
Minimum 35% marks in the qualifying exam.
Entrance clearance via the UBTER JEEP exam.

Diploma in Pharmacy focusing on comprehensive pharmaceutical sciences and healthcare:

Pharmacology & Toxicology
Pharmaceutics & Drug Delivery Systems

Pharmacognosy
Hospital & Clinical Pharmacy Management

Duration: 2 Years Intake: 35 seats Fee: ₹8,400/year

Eligibility for Pharmacy

Passed 12th (Intermediate) from a recognized board.
Must have studied Physics, Chemistry & Biology/Mathematics.
Minimum 45% marks in the qualifying exam.
Entrance clearance via the UBTER JEEP exam.

Admission Process

Follow these sequential steps to apply for admission at UGIP Nainital.

Fill Application Form

Apply online at the UBTER portal. Application forms generally open in April every year for the JEEP entrance exam.

Appear in JEEP Exam

Appear in the UBTER JEEP (Joint Entrance Exam Polytechnic) held in May. Ensure you bring your admit card and ID proof.

Check Results

JEEP results are declared in June. Check the UBTER official website regularly for your rank and merit list updates.

Online Counseling

Participate in online counseling for seat allotment based on your rank, preference, and current seat availability.

Document Verification

Report to the allotted institute with your original documents for verification and to complete fee payment formalities.

Admission Confirmed

After successful document verification and fee payment, your admission is confirmed. Classes officially begin in August.
